Posts for Nov 7th: Lybian newspaper suspended, Al-Awlaki's influence, Spying AQ, Commemorating intifada, French "youths" attack Catholic Mass, Professor denies Holocaust, British Abu Hamza, Terrorist arrested, Kosovo's headscarf ban, "Education" for Islamic apostates, Mosque bombings, silence of Muslim leaders

  1. Lybia: Pro-reform newspaper suspended. The Libyan government has suspended printing of a newspaper controlled by a reformist son of leader Muammar Gaddafi, local media reported, in what could be the latest phase in a power struggle inside the oil exporting state. The newspaper had accused the Govt of not tackling corruption.
  2. UK: Al-Awlaki sermons influenced Muslim woman to stab British MP. Roshanara Choudhry, a 21-year-old student who has been jailed for life for trying to assassinate British MP Stephen Timms in May this year, told police she had wanted to die as a martyr after watching more than 100 hours of video sermons from the American-born extremist cleric Anwar al-Awlaki on the internet.
  3. Terror: Spy agencies have infiltrated AQ. The case of Rahman (an ex-GITMO who spied the Taliban and who was killed after they discovered it), which Shah (the Taliban spokeman) recounted to The Associated Press, falls in line with a key aspect of the fight against terror — Western intelligence agencies, with help from Islamic allies, are placing moles and informants inside al-Qaida and the Taliban. The program seems to be bearing fruit, even as many infiltrators like Rahman are discovered and killed.
  4. UK: Venezuelan embassy to commemorate intifada: The intifada was “at the forefront of the world struggle against white supremacist neo-colonialism and settler-colonialism,” according to the embassy.
  5. France: "youths" throw stones and pine cones at Catholics during All Souls' mass: 150 people attending the memorial service for the dead late Tuesday afternoon in a church in a sensitive area of Carcassonne, were victims of two teenagers (between 13 and 14 years),who, after entering the building, they began throwing stones and pine cones to the faithful. One person was hit. In addition, a statue of the Virgin, targeted by the young snatchers, was damaged.
  6. US: Vanderbilt radical professor denies Holocaust: Kaukab Siddique, associate professor of English at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, is an Islamic radical who demonizes Jews, mocks Holocaust victims and calls on Muslims to “liberate” Jerusalem.
  7. UK: Citizenship restored to cleric wanted on terrorism charges on the US: A British government ruling stripping the Egyptian-born Muslim cleric known as Abu Hamza al-Masri of his British citizenship was struck down Friday by a special immigration court. But government officials said the court’s action would not affect the government’s plan to extradite the cleric to the United States, where he is wanted on terrorism charges. Officials in the office of Home Secretary Theresa May said no decision had been made on whether to appeal the immigration court’s ruling to a higher British court.
  8. Germany: terrorist suspect arrested in Saarland region. The man demanded the release of an imprisoned member of the so-called Sauerland group which attempted to blow up US army bases in Germany in 2007.
  9. Kosovo: Headscarf ban sparks debate over country's identity: The government decided to forbid the wearing of headscarves in public schools late last year, in accordance with the constitution that declares Kosovo – which unilaterally declared independence from Serbia in 2008 – a secular country. “The scarf in Kosovo is not an element of our identity. It’s a sign of submission of female to male, rather than a sign of choice“, Kosovo’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Vlora Citaku explains.
  10. "Islam not invasive": "retreat centers" for Christian converts from Islam in Malaysia: A two-hour journey from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur revealed an isolated encampment where some Christian converts say they’ve been taken in order to be forced back to Islam.
  11. Pakistan: Death toll in mosques' bombing over 70. The mosques belong to Ahmaddiya community. The death toll right now is of 95.
  12. Salim Mansur: "We have a deadly silence of the Muslim leadership": " we have deathly silence of the Muslim leadership as non-Muslim minorities inside the Arab-Muslim world are routinely abused, their homes and places of worship under daily duress, and their hearts filled with fear of violent death in the hands of Muslim jihadis."

Carla del Ponte: "Bosnian Muslims used Serbs for organ harvesting"

The Telegraph:

Serb prisoners had their internal organs removed and sold by ethnic Albanians during the Kosovo war, according to allegations in a new book by the world’s best known war crimes prosecutor.

Carla Del Ponte, who stepped down in January as chief prosecutor at the Hague tribunal for crimes committed in the Balkan wars of the 1990s, said investigators found a house suspected of being a laboratory for the illegal trade.

Both Ray and me have commented on this terrible news. There are two data that shocked me specially:
a) the negative of the UNMIK (United Nations International Mission for Kosovo) to investigate the crimes.
b) the responsibility of the actual Kosovo's Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci, in the illegal trade.

Now, the representative of the Serbs families whose sons were kidnapped, is going to sue Carla del Ponte, for not having released these news before.

Kosovo, Albanians Are The Villains

This article from America's Daily fills in the knowledge gaps we may have and puts into perspective the danger of allowing Albanians into Europe or indeed the USA - where there are significant numbers.

Here is some historical evidence to show that Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence is illegal. Many people not only in the US but also in Europe are grossly misinformed on this issue. An independent Kosovo is a dangerous situation for the cultural and social integrity of Europe.

Has the world gone crazy or is there a master plan that the super powers have in mind so intricate that the common people cannot comprehend? This is the question I have been asking myself during the last couple of weeks while following closely the development of the drama in Kosovo. The opinion that Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence is illegal is shared by many countries in the world since it blatantly defies international agreements.

For some inexplicable reason, the US and the big West European countries embraced the self proclaimed independence of this province in the Balkans inhabited by clans of ruthless terrorists. I am sure that many people are raising their eyebrows right now so I will provide some historical evidence to back my judgment since I know for a fact that many people not only in the US but also in Europe are grossly misinformed on this issue. Kosovo's Implications for Southern California?

I found the following excerpt from this February 19, 2008 article in the Brussels Journal (a source which I rarely, if ever, cite) at Eleanor Duckwall's Spotlight:
...The Kosovo Albanians claimed Kosovo for two reasons: (a) because long, very long ago, before the province was Serbian, it used to be theirs and (b) because today they have become a majority in the province. America granted them their wish and forced Serbia out.

What if tomorrow Hispanics in California (or Texas) push for the independence of Southern California (or Southern Texas), arguing (a) that a long time ago, before these provinces became Anglo-American, they were Mexican and (b) that Hispanics have now become a majority there? Applying the Kosovo logic of Bill Clinton and George Bush, Washington should then be forced out of Southern California by an international army of European, Russian and Chinese troops who would establish an independent “nation” there. All this would be done in violation of the international rule that international borders can only be changed with the agreement of all parties. This is how Washington is treating Serbia today....
The caption is "The 'nation' of Aztlan - America's Kosovo":

So, fellow bloggers here at IBA, what do you think of the above excerpt? I'm not sure what to make of it.

Beware The Cuckoo In The Nest

I was curious about Kosovo declaring independence with the support of the USA and the UK and thought I would learn more:

Kosovo was a medieval Christian Serbian state until the middle ages. many churches and monasteries were built in the period. The enevitable encroachment of Islam reared it’s ugly head and Kosovo was conquered by the Ottomans in 1455.

Over the coming centuries control of Kosovo was passed between Muslim Albanians and Christian Serbs on a regular basis. At the beginning of the 20th century the Serbian reconquest of Kosovo was described as retribution for the 1389 Battle of Kosovo.

As a result of the World War II Axis invasion of 1941 the greatest part of Kosovo became a part of Italian-controlled Fascist Albania, and smaller bits by the Tsardom of Bulgaria and Nazi German-occupied Kingdom of Serbia.

During the fascist occupation of Kosovo by Albanians, until August 1941 alone, over 10,000 Serbs were killed and between 80,000 and 100,000 Serbs were expelled, while roughly the same number of Albanians from Albania were brought to settle in these Serbian lands.

Islam is now the predominant religion, professed by most of the majority ethnic Albanian population, the Bosniak, Gorani, and Turkish communities, and some of the Roma/Ashkali/Egyptian community, although religion is not a significant factor in public life.

Not until now. There won't be a long wait to see a sharia state.

Religious rhetoric was largely absent from public discourse in Muslim communities, mosque attendance was low, and public displays of conservative Islamic dress and culture were minimal.

Having looked at the history it clearly follows a familiar pattern. Originally a Christian country, conquered by the ever expanding Islamic “Religion of Peace”, legitimately re-conquered by the Christian Serbs and then conquered again by the mass immigration of Albanians. Sounds familiar doesn’t it?

It gets worse. The ethnic Albanians having moved to Kosovo, presumably for a better life, then demanded the country as their own. When the Christian Serbs objected NATO bombed them into submission. Now the interlopers have their way, independence from Serbia.

It follows therefore that when the two to three million Muslims who have moved to England for a better life decide that they want their own sharia law state, will NATO also bomb us into submission if we object?

The clear moral of this story is that Islam cannot co-exist peacefully alongside any other culture. There is no example in the world that I can think of where they do. It is deliberate on the part of Muslims to create conflict and tension wherever they are, whenever they are immigrants.

I can understand why the Serbs are angry at the surrender of their country to Islam after many centuries of history. The Serbs admittedly committed atrocities against the Kosovans in the 1990’s and NATO bombed them in order to protect them.

However, we do need to remember that the Albanian Kosovans were waging war against the Serbs at the time and committing equally atrocious violence against the Serb population in what was a classic Muslim tactic of stirring up resentment in the Kuffar population.

Where next? Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands? Capitulation in Kosovo has created a dangerous precedent wherever there are Muslim cuckoos in the nest.

Cuckoos are lazy, parasite birds that live off the proceeds of others. That sounds familiar.

Kosovo Joins The Ummah

So, those Western nations recognizing the independence of Kosovo are enabling and empowering the Ummah. Isn't that just wonderful? Another step to the establishment of the worldwide caliphate.

From Muslim Matters.org:
Congratulations to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Kosova, which has just declared its independence from Serbia on Sunday (2/17/2008). As might be expected, this is not without international controversy, as Kosova’s independence has been opposed by Serbia, Russia, and other neighboring states. However, with recognition from the US and much of the EU, Kosova, despite the displeasure of its enemies, is here to stay, inshaAllah.

[...]

We here at MM welcome Kosova to the international community. May Allah grant this new government the wisdom and ability to rule by the most just of legal systems, the Shari’ah, and allow it to, in doing so, become a shining example for our Ummah to follow. Ameen.
How stupid can the West be?

Um, never mind. I already know the answer. I see the voluntary dhimmitude on a regular basis.

Soon To Come To A Church Near You?

Wherever in the world where Islam is the majority Christian churches are likely to be destroyed. Here Albanian members of the "Islam is Peace" religion are seen destroying a church in Kosovo. I can imagine that will happen in Europe soon. In the UK churches in Muslim "no-go" areas are boarded up and vandalised.
